F.A.Q. ...Email
What message do I receive ?
We leave that up to you ! Each contact can have a unique message, we
therefore suggest that each contact can be assigned just one URL and
you can then describe which URL has failed and any other
information you wish to be included like webmaster or service
provider contact details.
How quickly is the message sent ?
When a fault has been identified and the multi-point scans have been
completed, the email is then sent immediately. This email message
will be re-sent every hour as long as the fault exists. You can turn
off the service by simply logging on to your account and disabling
the alert for that URL. (Remembering to enable it again when the
problem has been rectified.)
What if there is a fault with my email server ?
If you monitoring your email server then we suggest you use a public
email server like hotmail or yahoo for your contact email address.
