Why do you have multiple servers?
When a URL scan is completed and a FAILED
condition exists, we need to know whether it is fault with your
actual server or the local access network by having multiple
scan locations we can test to see if the fault condition exists from
different geographical locations, if the FAILED condition exists
from multiple location then an alert is sent. This minimises false
error conditions.
What happens when this site is offline ?
With a multiserver configuration if any of the servers goes
offline its scanning operations are carried out by the
others in the network. Access to your account may be limited,
but alerts will still be sent when your monitored URLs
develop any problems.
